Yale – Bridgeport Hospital Secures a 32 Bed Temporary Facility

In preparation for the COVID-19 crisis, our Ross & Baruzzini Medical Equipment Team worked with Yale New Haven Health – Bridgeport Hospital to secure a 32 bed temporary facility. Our strong connections in the medical equipment planning industry allowed us to have the temporary facility tent delivered and set in place in less than a week from the original request. Working in conjunction with Anne Diamond, President of Yale New Haven Health – Bridgeport Hospital, and Beachview Logistics, the temporary facility is up and running and ready to manage the anticipated patient surge.

“I have worked with Anne over the last 15 years on multiple projects for different health systems and consider her to be one of the true innovators in healthcare. When Anne reached out with the need to find a solution for a temporary tent hospital I was able to use my connections to help make this happen. Working with my friends at Beachview Logistics, the tent was delivered, and up in running in a very short timeframe.” Scott Vinson, Ross & Baruzzini | Medical Equipment Managing Principal.
