DVS announces the appointment of Ben Scaglione as the director of health care security. In this role, Scaglione will play an integral role in the development of new business and serve as a health care security expert, leading efforts to provide security assessments, master plans and security programs for current and potential clients.
Director of Health Care Security
Scaglione brings almost 40 years of experience of experience with 20 years of senior level experience managing large scale, multi-site and national security programs. He has extensive experience designing and managing multi-million dollar, leading edge technology solutions. Scaglione has been instrumental in creating and managing programs for high level dignitaries, working closely with private security and law enforcement on the local, state and federal level. Most recently, Scaglione served as director of health care security programming at Lowers & Associates where he was responsible for developing new business opportunities and working with clients to reduce risk through various types of assessments, audit and educational programing.

Scaglione earned a master’s of arts in criminal justice from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford. He is a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional, a Certified Protection Professional and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Scaglione is a member of American Society for Industrial Security, the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers and the International Association of Health Care Security and Safety.
