The mission critical facility features a 31,600sf single-story;  hardened building and associated site improvements at a 10-acre site.  The facility is utilized as a new Emergency Communications Center with an Emergency Operations Center for 70 staff members  and a 911 Call Center with 40 consoles. The data center houses communications equipment for the county-wide interoperable public radio system. Design considerations included maintaining 24/7 operations, anti-terrorism force protection, redundant utility infrastructure, tornado resistance, and physical and electronic security
