DVS, a division of Ross & Baruzzini, working with the developer and the Port Authority of NY & NJ, developed the multidisciplinary security design criteria for all five towers at the World Trade Center, including the iconic 1,776 foot One World Trade Center. The design criteria included architecture, structure, MEP, BMS, Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression.  Development of the security program included the identification of package and person screening to meet the blast and explosive mitigation strategies. The project also involved design and construction administration services for all electronic security systems, including video surveillance, access control, alarm monitoring, digital communications, as well as the network backbone to support these systems.  The project is currently in various stages of design, construction, and occupancy.
