A new $24.5 Million, 35,000sf Emergency Operations Center and data center was developed on a seven-acre site to serve the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. The three key elements of the EOC—business model development, facility systems, and technology systems—were addressed and incorporated into the design. The blast resistant facility with redundant utility infrastructure includes the emergency operations center, a policy room,  break-out rooms, a public information office, HAM Radio, 311 Call Center, a Media Room, administrative offices, the data center, NOC, GIS , an FBI/SCIF room, a break room, and support functions.
