ADAC embarked on developing design criteria documents for two mission critical facilities requiring 24/7 operations, redundant technology and utilities infrastructure, anti-terrorism force protection, and security. The 4,800sf Airport Command and Control Centre will serve as the central point of campus intelligence and response, and involved the integration of multiple electronic communication systems, operational processes, and departmental functions. The conceptual design includes an airport operations center, a security operations center, an emergency operations center, and government agency offices.

The Technology Center will serve as the airport’s primary data center and is developed to EIA/TIA Tier 3 standards. The proposed center is a computing intensive facility that includes a data center, a network operations center, information communications services offices (for 165 personnel), a pre-production center/test lab, a training facility, and telepresence/video conferencing.
