The 5-story building primarily houses outpatient services including a Neurology Center and a Cancer Center. The new building is connected through walkways or corridors to the existing outpatient clinic building. The project was designed under a Fast Track approach.
The NICI includes a neurological clinical and procedural suite, rehabilitation gym, infusion suite, cancer clinic, and radiation oncology area with two linear accelerators. The current campus features diagnostic centers, outpatient surgery, and an emergency department.
The 6,500 ft² physical Therapy unit included an oversized ADL (Activities for Daily Life) training and occupational therapy area, several private treatment rooms with motorized therapy tables and ultrasonic therapy systems, and speech pathology offices. The Rehabilitation Gym includes a gait training track, ramp, and step training equipment, an equilibrium testing system, several treatment tables, several ergometers, several treadmills- one with a gait trainer, and parallel bars.
