Missouri State University, Jordan Valley Innovation Center
This renovation of five buildings totaling 90,000sf at an abandoned MFA Mill facility in downtown Springfield, Missouri provided research space for the University’s Center for Applied Sciences program focusing on bio-materials & life sciences research and bio-detection & bio-hazard technology. This facility included new flexible laboratories, clean rooms (Class 100 and Class 1000), a demonstration facility, pilot plant, and vivarium. Numerous sustainable features were incorporated to minimize energy consumption.
