Ross & Baruzzini completed a review of the entire power distribution system that is associated with the 4160 volt Main East and Main West Substations, Main Terminals #1 and #2, Concourses A, B, C, D and E, East and West Boiler Plants and both Parking Garages. The scope entailed developing up-to-date one line diagrams of the 4160 volt, 480/277 volt and 208/120 voltage systems and developing short circuit, coordination and arc flash studies based on the field data collected and one-lines produced. Along with written reports and recommendations developed, arc flash labels were produced and installed by Ross & Baruzzini personnel on all the electrical equipment. There were over 1,000 labels installed. Included with the study were 8 emergency generators located throughout the facilities. Manholes with identified 4160 volt feeders were included on the newly developed one line diagrams, all produced in AutoCAD format.
