Harry Ferris rejoins Ross & Baruzzini

Industry veteran to bring deep electrical engineering expertise across multiple markets.

ST. LOUIS, September 24, 2014 – Ross & Baruzzini is pleased to announce that Harry Ferris PE, RCDD, has rejoined the firm as a senior electrical engineer and project manager. In this role, Harry will provide leadership and technical expertise for the firm and will provide clients with a wide range of solutions on highly complex projects across all Ross & Baruzzini’s primary markets.

Ferris brings more than 30 years of professional electrical engineering design experience to the firm in a variety of fields including federal government, military, public utility and education. His experience includes design of electrical systems for a multitude of assignments including building infrastructure, campus distribution, master plans, electrical substation design and specialized lighting. He has also been involved in low voltage, medium voltage and central utility plant design projects.

Ferris earned a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington University. He is a professional electrical engineer in fifteen states and is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer. Ferris is a member of the St. Louis Electrical Board, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Building Industry Consulting Service International, the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying and the National Fire Protection Association.

Ferris comes to Ross & Baruzzini from Jacobs, where he served as an Electrical Subject Matter Expert and Director of Electrical Engineering. Before joining Jacobs, Ferris was a ten-year veteran of Ross & Baruzzini where he served as the Director of Electrical Engineering.
