Ross & Baruzzini designed a CCTV camera system at three separate port facilities. The camera system primarily provides both perimeter protection and internal facility surveillance. By using intelligent video analysis, the system can be used to detect unauthorized movement in specific areas and generate alerts when certain pre-defined rules are violated. The security video is transported over a completely wireless network from the individual camera locations, through network aggregation points, to the security monitoring station at each of the three facilities. The security video backhaul uses a combination of licensed and unlicensed wireless links.
