Ross & Baruzzini provided architectural and MEPFP engineering services for the complete phased renovation of the entire third floor of the six-story Army Base Hospital. The 34,000-sf renovation included the following medical components: Labor and Delivery, Women's Clinic, Intensive Care Unit, Same Day Surgery Recovery and Patient Education. Design criteria utilized by the multi-disciplined design team included: MEDCOM Design Standards; Department of Defense Space Planning Criteria and Guideplates; Army Installation Design Standards; and MIL STD HBK 1691 - Equipment Planning Standards.
