Ross & Baruzzini conducted an overall vulnerability assessment of more than 80 facilities located throughout the City of Houston. As a result, physical and electronic countermeasures were applied to each site, consisting of perimeter fencing, vehicle barriers, perimeter intrusion detection, electronic access control, and closed-circuit television (CCTV). The CCTV system was by far the most comprehensive, and included traditional cameras as well as newer mega pixel, panoramic, and multi-view cameras. The CCTV system utilized newer Intelligent Video Analytic technology, digital video recording, and was fully IP/Ethernet based.
