Rolla, Missouri

Ross & Baruzzini designed the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for three new residence halls. The first was a new 95,500-sf, 263-bed building and the second and third were joined buildings totaling 80,000-sf and 280 beds. The buildings house a combination of doubles semi-suite and 4-bedroom singles suite units, apartments, classroom/seminar spaces, computer labs, common living spaces, retail spaces, and a dining room. Ross & Baruzzini designed a stand-alone heating hot water plant and the extension of campus chilled water, soft water, and telecommunications to each of the two complexes, as well as extension of power from the local utility company.
